Armagh have agreed to postpone their Ulster club quarter-final for a week to give Donegal time to complete their championship.

Donegal’s progress to the All-Ireland final meant only a few preliminary round championship fixtures were played.

Jim McGuinness’s All-Ireland winners cut the celebrations short as the players went straight into club championship action last weekend. Their county final is now due to be played on November 4 — the original date of the Ulster quarter-final clash against either defending All-Ireland champions Crossmaglen Rangers or Pearse Óg, who contest the Armagh final on Sunday week.
