Former Tipperary hurler Eamon Corcoran will not be part of new senior team manager Eamon O’Shea’s backroom team.

The 2001 All-Ireland medallist has been heavily linked with a selector’s role since O’Shea’s appointment at a county board meeting last Tuesday night. But the JK Brackens club man stressed there has been no contact from O’Shea about a potential role in the Premier County set-up.

And Corcoran has revealed that he would be unable to commit in any case due to work and family commitments.
