St. Anne’s eased past Sarsfields (2-12 to 0-7), with Redmond Barry impressing for the winners.

Paul Murphy, Kevin Gore and Philip Cullen kept the losers in touch before Barry slotted home a penalty to give his side a 1-5 to 0-4 interval lead. With David and Jonathan Fogarty dominant in midfield, St. Anne’s quickly extended their lead on the restart. Barry, who finished the day with 1-7, was their chief marksman while Jonathan Fogarty had their second goal.
