Galvin sees red in Finuge win
Kerry star Galvin was dismissed early in the second half on a second yellow card while Ardfert’s Mairtín Ferris, son of Sinn Féin TD Martin, received a straight red card after an incident with Paul’s brother, Raymond.
Finuge, with newly-appointed Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice at full-forward, qualified for an IFC final meeting with Spa following the war of attrition. Fitzmaurice contributed 0-2 of his side’s first-half tally with Finuge’s two other first-half scores coming from Raymond Galvin, while the Wallaces, Stephen and Darren, got a brace each as the sides retired on level terms at 0-4 each.
