Sligo chairman Cyril Feehily is in the dark about whether Kevin Walsh wishes to continue for a fifth term in the Yeats County hot seat.

It’s over four weeks since Sligo suffered a 0-13 to 0-4 defeat by Kildare in the final round of the All-Ireland qualifiers, but it could be well into September before the position regarding Walsh and his backroom team is clarified.

ā€œWe haven’t met with Kevin Walsh and his selectors yet, but at this time of the year a lot of people are on holidays and are a taking a break after being involved in team-management duties,ā€ said Feehily on the Galway native and his backroom team of Paul Durcan, Dessie Sloyane and Paul Taylor.
