O’Neill: Tax no big deal

The GAA have played down the significance of referees facing potential tax liabilities for officiating games.

Last February, Croke Park confirmed the Association had entered into further talks with the Revenue about the procedure for taxation, if any, on referees’ match payments.

However, there has been little update since.
