Forde fires Kilanerin
Forde finished the game with a personal tally of 0-7 and had a hand in most of his side’s scores, with his clinical 29th-minute pass setting up Dean O’Toole for the crucial opening goal that helped his side into a 1-9 to 0-4 interval lead, despite playing into the wind.
While a PJ Banville-inspired Horeswood did manage to show huge improvement on the resumption with some neat points, it was still the Kilanerin side who moved on to an impressive 1-13 to 0-10 victory.
