Questions remain in wake of Dubs’ victory

If there is one thing we have learned it is that Dublin’s performances in Leinster finals are far from accurate barometers when contemplating what might happen when they leave behind provincial concerns and engage the bigger picture.

This time last year, they struggled to a narrow victory against Wexford but then blitzed a fancied Tyrone in the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

In 2008, they hammered Wexford and promptly got spanked by Tyrone in the last eight. So, go figure.
