Rock fires Cloyne to victory

A three-goal haul from former Cork senior hurler Diarmuid O’Sullivan helped Cloyne to advance to the fourth round of the Cork IFC at Castlelyons last night.

O’Sullivan goaled in the 10th minute from a penalty. His second was a deflected effort in the 12th minute and a third on 40 minutes wrapped up the win.

Alan O’Driscoll hit five points for Killavullen while Liam Cronin’s goal brought them to within four but Cloyne pulled well clear with Glanmire next for Killavullen in the relegation final.
