Dublin and Daly delay decision

Dublin chairman Andy Kettle said the county board haven’t yet spoken to Anthony Daly about staying on as senior hurling manager.

“We did say in the immediate aftermath that it would be two to three weeks,” said Kettle, who wants Daly to remain on. “We’ll let this week go and after the Meath/Dublin match, I would see us making contact.

“One way or the other, we’ll need to meet him. If he’s not coming, and I hope he is coming, we’ll need to start looking. The longer you leave it, it’ll be harder to get someone.”
