‘Crazy’ decisions hurt Banner

Clare manager Micheal McDermott said he and his team were in “bonus territory” despite losing yesterday’s Munster SFC final to Cork and the Cavan native backed them to concentrate on their qualifier clash.

“We have to now refocus and get today out of our system, and we have to be ready for three weeks’ time,” said McDermott.

“In the last round of the National League we had pain, we had hurt, we had the same thing today but it’s all about being ready now for three weeks’ time.
