Draw for Forristal tournament

The draws for the annual Tony Forristal U14 inter-county hurling tournament in Waterford have been made.

12 teams, split into four groups of three, will compete for the trophy and the top team in each of the groups will advance to the semi-finals.

Kilkenny, Limerick, and Tipperary are drawn in group one, while Dublin, Wexford and Offaly are in group two.

The host county are in group three with Laois and Cork, while Clare, Galway and Antrim are in group four.

Nine counties will send B teams to take part in a competition for the Sonny Walsh Trophy.

Teams will be split into three groups of three with the top team in each group and the best second placed teams advancing to the semi finals.

Wexford, Limerick and Clare are drawn in group one, Galway, Kilkenny and Waterford are in group two, while Dublin, Tipperary and Cork are in group three.

The competition takes place in Waterford on September 1 and 2 with the finals at Walsh Park.
