Down fight Garvey ban

Down will appeal against what James McCartan feels is an unjust suspension for Conor Garvey.

For the second game in a row, Down have had a player cited via video evidence and now are in danger of losing one of their most experienced defenders for the Ulster final against Donegal on July 22.

Down didn’t complain when Aidan Brannigan was banned for the semi-final against Monaghan following an incident in the Fermanagh game.
