Like the men’s edition, the ladies Gaelic football Leinster final will be between Dublin and Meath after they overcame Laois and Westmeath respectively yesterday.

Dublin had a 2-11 to 1-10 win against the O’Moore County, Amy Ring and Amy McGuinness with the goals, while Sinéad Goldrick impressed.

Despite being down to 13 players at one stage in the second half, Meath beat their neighbours by 2-7 to 0-8. Mary Sheridan got both of the Royal County’s goals, while Katie O’Brien accounted for four of their points. Maud Annie Foley top-scored for Westmeath with two points.
