Killarney far more clinical

Killarney Legion 1-14 Mid Kerry 1-7

Although Mid Kerry had a virtual monopoly of midfield possession, they failed to translate this dominance into scores. Legion were more clinical in attack and, largely through the efforts of county player James O’Donoghue (4) and Conor Keane (3), led 0-8 to 0-5 at half-time.

Mid Kerry started the second-half in impressive fashion and a Liam Sheehan goal two minutes in saw them take the lead for the first time, 1-6 to 0-8.
