Two goals in each half saw Derry coast to an easy Ulster SHC quarter-final win over Armagh.

It was left to the Oak Leaf senior hurlers to save the blushes of the county after a terrible weekend for the footballers, and a brace apiece from Ruairi Convery and Paddy McCloskey booked a semi-final clash with Down in two weeks time.

Armagh won their second Nicky Rackard Cup in three years only last weekend and seemed to find it tough to raise their game again so soon.
