Marren gives credit to team-mates

Sligo hero Adrian Marren said his superb haul of 2-6 was due to the work of the players around him.

Marren scored 1-4 from play, converted a penalty and landed a free and a 45 in a top-class display of shooting. However he said the return of David Kelly was also crucial to their success and his big tally.

“It was like having a new player, we haven’t really had him for the past two years. They probably weren’t expecting him to start but it freed up a lot of space for me as two men seemed to go towards him,” said the Curry clubman.
