GAA director general Páraic Duffy has revealed a third of county boards are experiencing financial difficulty.

Speaking to Newstalk yesterday, Duffy acknowledged there are far more counties facing problems than has been reported.

He also suggested Simon Moroney’s position as advisor to the Kildare County Board could be a model for other counties to follow.
