Wicklow’s late show edges Derry
Goals by Brendan Quigley and Patrick McCloskey edged Derry 2-4 to 0-4 ahead after 23 minutes, with Paddy Henry starring for the visitors. Six points for Wicklow by Jonathan ‘Bosco’ O’Neill, Geoffrey Bermingham and Andy O’Brien reduced the margin to 2-6 to 0-10 at the break.
Jonathan O’Neill landed the lead point from a free on 66 minutes and John Connors crashed home the clinching goal in injury time.
