Murphy return boosts Rebels for Banner test
Captain Stephen Murphy of Blackrock, who was forced off with an injury in last week’s first-round loss to Limerick, returns at right corner-back in place of Kiltha Óg’s James McCarthy, while Barra O’Connell (Blarney) comes back in at midfield.
O’Connell’s return sees Newtownshandrum’s Conor Twomey, his midfield partner against Limerick but who played right half-back in Saturday’s win over Kerry, drop to the bench with Killian McIntyre reverting from the middle to number five, where he lined out against the Shannonsiders.
