Casey calls the shots as Tyrone rout Leitrim

Leitrim were crushed in this Lory Meagher Cup tie at Ballinamore on Saturday by a rampant Tyrone led by Damien Casey.

The early action gave no indication of the rout in store with the sides level after 25 minutes (1-2 apiece) with Casey and Clement Cunniffe the goal scorers. But the Ulster side then hit a purple patch and points from Casey, Justin Kelly and Gerard Gilmore had them six clear (1-8 to 1-2) at the interval. Tyrone ran rampant after the break hitting 3-14 with Conor Grogan, Shea McKiver and Seamus Hagan scoring their goals.
