Lynch turns on style for Valley

There was good news for Cork football boss Conor Counihan in Saturday’s Premier IC game at Donoughmore where Fiachra Lynch showed no ill effects of the injury which limited his involvement in the National League.

Lynch was outstanding for Valley Rovers and his 2-3 from play contributed handsomely to a facile victory over a young Glenville side.

However, Lynch was but one of a number of powerful players to impress as Valley Rovers begin their quest to regain senior status. Glenville began promisingly, enjoying a two points lead before Lynch got his first goal in the 13th minute before netting again before the break.
