An eighth straight win in Sunday’s NFL Division Two final will set Tyrone up perfectly for their Ulster Championship opener against Armagh, according to Colm Cavanagh.

The Red Hand midfielder believes there’s nothing to beat the winning habit. And an in-form Tyrone team, with a 100% record in 12 competitive games since the start of the year, is on quite a roll.

Since manager Mickey Harte has never organised a single friendly game in his 10 years in charge, this weekend’s Croke Park clash with Kildare, a repeat of the league opener at the same venue, will be Tyrone’s final outing ahead of the first round championship clash with the Orchard County.
