Louth to square off expenses claims

The Louth footballers whose expenses claims were outstanding will be issued with cheques over the weekend.

As revealed in the Irish Examiner yesterday, a resolution had been agreed after talks were held between board officials and the players’ GPA representatives Paddy Keenan and Aaron Hoey.

“There was a small meeting and they talked about it,” said a source close to the players. “It’s all sorted. There was a small issue with some expenses and it has been resolved.
