Louth to square off expenses claims
As revealed in the Irish Examiner yesterday, a resolution had been agreed after talks were held between board officials and the players’ GPA representatives Paddy Keenan and Aaron Hoey.
“There was a small meeting and they talked about it,” said a source close to the players. “It’s all sorted. There was a small issue with some expenses and it has been resolved.
“It was nothing major. There was a query about a few miles but once the county board were satisfied that nobody was trying to swindle money out of them everything was fine. Most of the cheques have been issued.”
