Battling Fermanagh close in on promotion

Fermanagh fought back from four points down to secure a share of the spoils at Brewster Park yesterday.

The result edges Peter Canavan’s side ever closer to promotion but Limerick’s slim ambitions were ended and Maurice Horan’s side also lost John Galvin, not long returned from a cruciate ligament snap, to injury.

Ger Collin got Limerick off to the perfect start when he blasted to the Fermanagh net in the third minute, and they led 0-4 to 1-4 at the break.
