Mullane returns to Déise line-up

Mullane removed himself from the Déise squad at the beginning of February and it was intimated at the time that he would return following a six-week hiatus.
That time has elapsed and the news will come as a relief to manager Michael Ryan as his side seek a first win in this year’s league campaign.
The 30-year-old De La Salle clubman featured in just two Allianz Hurling League games last season because of his wedding, honeymoon and club commitments and he played no part in the Deise’s Waterford Crystal Cup campaign this year.
Elsewhere, The Kilkenny team to play Cork in the Allianz Hurling League in Pairc Uí Chaoimh features four changes in personnel from the side which defeated Dublin last weekend.
Dunnamaggin’s Willie Phelan comes in at corner back for his debut while Kieran Joyce (Rower Inistioge) will make his first start to a league game having featured as a substitute previously. Eoin Murphy is selected at corner forward, an odd choice seeing as he is also sub goalkeeper on the panel.
