Darren McCurry turned in an impressive attacking display capped by four points as they set up a semi-final clash with Down.

The Red Hands dominated for most of the game, with the visitors failing to turn a second-half flourish into scores.

McCurry landed four excellent points, three from play, as Tyrone established control.

Dermot Molloy finally opened Donegal’s account with a fisted effort in the 28th minute, followed by a superb long-range score from McBrearty but at the halfway stage the Red Hands led 0-7 to 0-2.

Points from McBrearty and a McGarvey 45 narrowed the gap to four points.

Tyrone had gone 18 minutes without a score when Tommy Canavan landed a long-range effort, but they finished strongly to win by double scores.
