Cooney challenges Glanmire to deliver on plan

President of the GAA Christy Cooney has challenged Glanmire GAA club to follow through on what he described as a “remarkable” strategic plan for development between 2012 and 2016.

Addressing members of the club at the launch in Sallybrook last night, Mr Cooney insisted that having succeeded in producing such a comprehensive blueprint for progress, there is now a responsibility on the members to deliver on the targets set.

“There is no doubt that your club has made very significant strides,” he remarked. “But tonight is about your future and this plan is absolutely worthless unless it is delivered upon.
