Fermanagh keep 100% record

Fermanagh came through this scrappy encounter that had more in common with a relegation battle than a push for promotion yesterday in Brewster Park.

The hosts began brightly and were four points to the good after the opening nine minutes.

Thereafter, Wicklow made inroads, with Fermanagh just doing enough to stay in front throughout, surviving one scare when Barry Owens blocked a shot from Leighton Glynn.

The visitors had two further chances for goals later in the game, but Peter Canavan’s side rode their luck to maintain their 100% record.
