Carlow blow for Kingdom

Paudie Kehoe fired 11 points as Carlow all but ended Kerry’s hopes of promotion from Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League yesterday.

Carlow blow for Kingdom

Despite trailing by seven points late in the first-half (1-10 to 0-6), after Kerry’s Shane Nolan had the game’s only goal, Carlow bossed the entire second period.

With Kehoe scoring 0-7 (six from frees) in the second-half alone, as well as a brace from impressive full-forward Craig Doyle, Carlow overpowered the hosts whose challenge faltered badly.
