Ó Duibhir delivers for Coláiste Eoin

Super sub Conchúr Ó Duibhir’s goal seven minutes from time secured victory for Coláiste Eoin in this Leinster Colleges SAFC semi-final at Navan’s Pairc Tailteann on Saturday.

Moate led 0-5 to 0-2 at the end of the opening quarter, with twins John and Martin Rock among the scorers. But a brilliant Maitias MacDonnacha goal on 28 minutes edged Coláiste Eoin 1-4 to 0-6 ahead at the break.

The sides were level twice before Luke Kelly edged Moate back in front. However, a goal and two points in a three-minute spell was enough to see the Stillorgan school through.
