Kerry to examine fair play league table

A Kerry club has proposed introducing a fair play table to eliminate bad behaviour and the county’s CCC will consider it before club leagues kick off.

Laune Rangers delegate Joe Crowley raised the issue at a recent county board meeting. He wants the spectre of players querying match officials decisions and mentors shouting at players and officials from the sidelines to disappear.

Teams who pick up yellow and red cards would be included in a Fair Play league table and he proposed the team who behaves the best, would receive a reward at the conclusion of the league.
