Late points power St Kieran’s

It was only in the final minutes of this exciting Leinster Colleges SAHC semi-final at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow yesterday that All-Ireland champions St Kieran’s hit four unanswered points to book a provincial final place against Kilkenny CBS.

Coláiste Eoin got off to a great start and were dominant for the opening 20 minutes.

They were boosted by the game’s only goal on five minutes when a shot from Colm Ó Cróinín found the corner of the net as they led 1-1 to nil.
