Portlaoise clash to be treated ‘like any other game’

Laois chairman Brian Allen insists his officials will treat Saturday’s All-Ireland semi-final in Portlaoise’s O’Moore Park ‘like any other game’.

Ahead of the mouthwatering clash against Crossmaglen, Dr Crokes manager Vincent Casey called for adequate stewarding with a concentrated presence of officials around the substitutes area.

Casey’s plea came in the wake of last month’s controversial All-Ireland JFC semi-final between fellow Kerry club Dromid Pearses and Tyrone’s Derrytresk at the same Portlaoise venue.
