Full-back Ger Cafferkey went off injured 14 minutes into Saturday night’s opener against Laois with what Horan described as a ‘slight hamstring tear’. He’s in a race against time to be fit.

Alan Feeney, who lined out at full-back in last year’s Connacht Championship, is expected to beavailable again after recovering from a back injury. Feeney’s Castlebar Mitchels colleague Eoghan O’Reilly replaced the injured Cafferkey lastSaturday.
