A reminder of Thomas Walsh affair

Carlow made a number of objections to the midfielder moving from Fenagh to Bray Emmets, querying whether Walsh was actually residing in the Garden County. On one occasion, Walsh mistakenly wrote on his transfer form the door number of the apartment next to his own in Greystones. On another, the Carlow board cited the rule all correspondence with provincial councils must be conducted by the county secretary. The Leinster Council twice ruled the transfer application out of order before granting it.
