No fairytale return for Canavan

TYRONE legend Peter Canavan returned to Healy Park last night as Fermanagh manager but failed to take the scalp of his old friends.

In front of a crowd of almost 7,000, the Erne men staged a superb second-half comeback and came close to stealing what would have been a remarkable win.

Tyrone got off the mark in the eighth minute through Stephen O’Neill and from then on they were able to hit the target almost at will.
