Brennan: IT message is getting through

IT was a contented Nickey Brennan that greeted the media in the foyer of Melbourne’s Grand Hyatt Hotel the Monday morning after Ireland’s emphatic first Test win over Australia.

His smile had nothing to do with the International Rules result the previous Friday evening. No, the former GAA president had been able to get his fill of Gaelic games in the early hours.
