ALTHOUGH he has concerns about how administratively-laden the GAA has become, former president Peter Quinn believes the Association can endure the economic crisis.

The Fermanagh man, who held office between 1991 and 1994 and is heralded as one of the protagonists in Croke Park’s redevelopment, accepted there is no other option for county boards other than cutting costs.

However, he is optimistic the GAA is stable enough to weather the storm.
