ONE of Dublin’s star players from the All-Ireland final has been robbed in Thailand.

Fennell ripped off in Thailand

St Vincent’s Eamonn Fennell, who started a two-week holiday to the southeast Asian country yesterday, tweeted last night that all his money had been stolen.

“1st nite in Thailand and all my money got robbed. Thailand wil get u, it got me good. Seen some Thai lads in fur jackets & crowns #fatherted [sic],” he wrote.

The midfielder was joined by Bernard Brogan on the trip and although the duo were only home a day from the county team holiday to Florida and the Cayman Islands, they were looking forward to the trip.

“So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good bye. Myself & @bernardbrogan only after landing & going off again, this time to Thailand #hangover2,” he tweeted before the trip.

Fennell was the subject of a controversial club transfer from O’Tooles to northside rivals St Vincents and came on in the All-Ireland final victory against Kerry.
