Déise bosses slammed for fixtures delay

COUNTY managers have been accused of recklessly holding up club fixtures in Waterford according to West Divisional Board secretary Pat Grant.

He accused some of the county’s managers of causing chaos to club championship fixtures in his report for the West Waterford GAA Board convention in Dungarvan.

“We had a situation this year that we had to call off an entire weekend of club championship fixtures which ultimately caused serious difficulty in getting our championships finished on time, and in my opinion we should never let this happen again,” said Grant.
