Sweet revenge for Greystones

ÉIRE ÓG, Greystones stepped up their game in the second half of this Leinster IFC final and ran out winners by two points over Confey of Kildare at Aughrim yesterday.

County star Darren Hayden at centre-forward was at the heart of Éire Óg’s push for victory as they wiped out a 0-2 to 0-4 deficit at half time, and he scored the two winning points with five minutes to go.

Corner-forward Daniel Webb was also on target with his free-taking on the change over and his three points from placed balls were invaluable.
