Athy’s Foley jets back home for Leinster tie

Athy’s Foley jets back home for Leinster tie

The Kildare All Star left Ireland last month on a five-week trip that included visits to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Borneo.

However, Foley has cut short his travels to take part in Sunday’s provincial clash with Westmeath champions Garrycastle. Foley made the decision last Wednesday to come home and was back in Ireland and being presented with Kildare’s player of the year award by Friday evening. Less than 24 hours later, he got 60 minutes under his belt as he turned out for Kildare in a challenge and has been working hard to get his sharpness back.
