13-man Burren hold off late Latton charge

The sides were level three times in the opening 20 minutes with Burren then going on to lead by the minimum at the break, 1-4 to 0-6, the goal coming at the end of a lightning counter-attack which Shay McArdle finish from close range.

Burren extended their lead to six points before Latton hit back. Points by Owen Duffy in the 18th and 23rd minutes, Owen Lennon in the 19th and Hugh McElroy in the 28th minute brought the margin down to two. Burren were reduced to 13 with the dismissal of Ciaran McGovern and Eoin McCartan but they held on.
