Scoil Íosagáin turn on style in second-half

AN EXCELLENT Scoil Íosagáin performance after half-time earned them victory over Scoil Eoin, Ballincollig in the Allianz Sciath na Scol F3 final at Páirc Uí Rinn, Cork, yesterday.

Level at 1-5 each at half-time, the Farranree school pulled clear early in the second-half to record an unanswered 2-4, Luke Donovan with an excellent individual goal before Jamie Morrissey struck for his second of the match while Ryan Foley scored two points.

Scoil Eoin did respond late on through goals from Sean Walsh and Ross O’Donovan, but the gap proved too much to bridge and Íosagáin held out.
