DUBLIN’S top GAA official has moved quickly to dampen speculation that a third major stadium for the capital is on its way.

Less than 24 hours after the publication of Dublin’s strategic plan for the next six years, which includes plans to ‘develop a stadium’ of mid range capacity, county chairman Andy Kettle has tempered expectations on the project.

The notion of a 25-30,000 stadium wasn’t ruled out but, according to Kettle, it won’t be happening ‘in the foreseeable future’.
