Dorgan’s hat-trick inspires Greenmount
GREENMOUNT proved too strong for Scoil Padre Pio (Churchfield) in the Allianz F10 Urban final at Páirc Uí Rinn yesterday. Once Ryan Dorgan bagged the first of his hat-trick on five minutes the south side school were on their way and, thanks to another goal from James Falvey, led 3-2 to 0-3 at the break.
Scoil Padre Pio, even with the best efforts of Owen Galvin and David Curtin who shared the scoring, had much to do but battled bravely. However, their best efforts were scuppered on the resumption when Patrick Topielec raced up field to hit a brace of points followed by white flags from Jamie Leahy. When Dorgan added another couple of green flags, Greenmount were already on their way to victory.
