Crusheen calm ahead of final test
With a population of just 1,233 (2011 census), it is small but on one front, at least, Crusheen is creating big waves.
This year the club retained the Clare crown won last year for the first time in its long, storied but not hugely successful history. On Sunday they beat Cork champions Carrigtwohill in Páirc Uí Chaoimh to advance to this year’s Munster club final. A heady rise, but, says outstanding centre-back Cian Dillon, a rise not going to their heads.
