Burren’s late burst sees off Roslea
A goal and a point from substitute Paudie Poland sealed the game for the Down champions.
Burren hit seven unanswered points near the break to go in four up.
But Roslea, led by the brilliant Seamus Quigley, hit back and Dermot Reilly slammed home a goal to leave a point between the sides with five minutes left.
At this stage both sides were down to 14 men, with Burren captain James McGovern getting a straight red and Roslea’s Niall Cosgrove joining him on the sidelines after picking up two yellows.
With the game in the balance it was Burren who found an extra gear, scoring 1-3 without reply.
