McGrath staying at Tipp despite rumours

Tipperary GAA bosses are resting easier this morning with the news that star hurler Noel McGrath is remaining in the country, despite reports on social media outlets that the Loughmore-Castleiney man intended going to Australia.

When an entry on McGrath’s Twitter account stated that he intended to head Down Under for a year out, Premier County supporters were aghast, but it has since emerged that McGrath’s account was hacked and that there is no truth to the rumour.
